Growing Up with Big Dreams

Thus, from an early age, Ms. Cook was well aware of the catastrophic impact injuries can have on people and their families. Her mother also inspired her to grow up to be a helper. Today, Ms. Cook is there for her clients when they need her the most, fighting to ensure they get justice.

An Arkansas Native Fighting for Arkansans

Chasing that goal of helping her neighbors, she attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and graduated with a double major in Political Science and Communication in May 2018. After college, she attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree.

She clerked at multiple personal injury firms in Little Rock, including here at the Law Offices of Miller & Mallett. Upon admission to the Arkansas State Bar, she joined the firm as an attorney. Ms. Cook is licensed to practice law in all Arkansas state courts and is a proud member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the Pulaski County Bar Association, the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice.

Living the Dream: Standing Up for the Little Guy

When asked why she chose personal injury law, Kerrigan shared, “I like representing the average, everyday people who were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I may be 5’2, but I have always stood up for the little guy, no matter how big the bully looking down is.”

As Ms. Cook notes, insurance companies simply do not have injured people’s best interests in mind. With the massive amount of power and resources at an insurance company’s disposal, the odds are heavily stacked against an injured person trying to get compensation without proper counsel. She says, “I enjoy helping to even the playing field for my clients by keeping big insurance in check, zealously advocating for my clients, and making sure they are adequately compensated for their injuries.”

If you or a family member has been injured due to someone else's negligence, do not let the insurance companies take advantage of you. You need and deserve the skilled advocacy of a qualified attorney. Ms. Cook and the Miller & Mallett team work to provide that to our clients every day.

It's not difficult to see why Ms. Cook is such a good fit for the Law Offices of Miller & Mallett. Her warm, empathetic nature with her clients, coupled with her tough, no-nonsense style with insurance companies, exemplifies our values.
