A Lifetime of Dedication to the Law

Ms. Virden Mallett grew up right here in Morrilton Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She then attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she graduated early with Highest Honors in December 2010.

While in law school, Ms. Virden Mallett clerked for Pulaski County Circuit Judge Chris Piazza, the Arkansas Attorney General's Office, and the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, before coming to work with Peter Miller after graduation.

A Proud Legacy of Service

Ms. Virden Mallett’s father was a trial lawyer for most of her life, and from childhood, she liked the idea of the law equating to fairness and doing what is right. She says,

“I went into personal injury because I’ve always wanted things to be fair. Representing people who were injured through no fault of their own against big insurance companies is my way of making life a little more fair. I can’t fix everything, but if I can help people not get taken advantage of, I feel like I am doing something good.”

She and her husband, Trey Mallett, have a nine-year-old daughter. She enjoys playing golf, traveling, cooking, reading, and knitting in her spare time. The epitome of our slogan, “the firm with a smile,” Ms. Virden Mallett is known for her warm and welcoming personality – but her awards and positive client testimonials show her to be a formidable adversary in negotiations and in court.
